KUNST / ILLUSTRATION / STORYBOARD
Felix Theile is a storyteller that speaks through drawing and print
work, picks up the threads of people's stories, and orients himself
through the rich history of figurative narration. Often, the
protagonists of his illustrations find themselves in situations which
seem common to the everyday experience, yet hint at hidden
mysterious elements. His illustrations develop in a colourful filmic
style which creates a dichotomy in which both the ordinariness of the
portrayed scene and its deeper, unfamiliar background elements
intertwine.
